How to Set Your Browser to Accept Cookies (PC).
You may wish to print these instructions before continuing.

LocalPlay requires cookies. If you do not have cookies enabled LocalPlay will not be able to start disc based content. Look below to learn how to accept cookies.

Internet Explorer 4/5 Procedure:

  1. Click the Tools icon on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Internet Options from the dropdown list.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. Scroll down to the cookies heading and click the radio buttons labeled Enable on both stored and not stored cookies.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Close the Internet Options Settings window.
  8. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in windows and double click start.htm.

Internet Explorer 6.0 Procedure:

  1. Click the Tools icon on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Internet Options from the dropdown list.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Click the Advanced button.
  5. Make sure that the Always allow Session Cookies box is checked
  6. Click OK.
  7. Close the Internet Options Settings window.
  8. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in windows and double click start.htm.

Internet Explorer 6 SP1 or later Procedure:

  1. Click the Tools icon on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Internet Options from the dropdown list.
  3. Click the Privacy tab.
  4. Click the Privacy button.
  5. Choose one of the following...
    a) To allow cookies for all web sites, select "accept" under "first party cookies

    ..or..

    a) To allow cookies just for LocalPlay Discs, under the Privacy Tab, click the "Edit" button at the bottom
    b) Under Address of Web Site type "localplay.com" and click "allow"
  6. Click OK
  7. Close the Internet Options Settings window.
  8. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in windows and double click start.htm.

Firefox Procedure

  1. Click Options on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Privacy on the left side of the options window.
  3. Click the + next to the word Cookies in the main panel.
  4. Under Cookies, click the checkbox next to "Allow Sites to Set Cookies." You may also check next to "for originating web site only " if you are concerned about advertising cookies.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in Windows and double click start.htm.

AOL Procedure

  1. Click on "Settings"
  2. Click "Web [Internet] Options"
  3. On the right, click "Use your Internet Explorer Settings..."
  4. Choose one of the following...
    a. To allow cookies for all web sites, select "accept" under "first party cookies

    ..or..

    a. To allow cookies just for LocalPlay Discs, under the Privacy Tab, click the "Edit" button at the bottom
    b) Under Address of Web Site type "localplay.com" and click "allow"
  5. Click OK
  6. Click OK
  7. Click Save
  8. Close the settings window
  9. Close and Restart AOL, and reinsert the disc.

Netscape 6,7 / Mozilla Procedure:

  1. Click the Edit on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Preferences from the dropdown list.
  3. Under Category on the left, double-click Privacy and Security.
  4. Under Cookies, click the radio button next to "Enable all cookies" or "Enable cookies for originating web site only" if you are concerned about advertising cookies.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in Windows and double click start.htm.

Netscape 4 Procedure:

  1. Click the Edit on the browser's menu.
  2. Click Preferences from the dropdown list.
  3. Under Category, click the Advanced.
  4. Under Cookies, click the radio button next to Accept all cookies.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close this window, reinsert the CD-ROM or open the CD-ROM in windows and double click start.htm.
